June & Clarence Williams

Owners

June and Clarence have both been in the food industry for over 55 years after taking over the butcher's from Clarence's Mother, Lucy along with the sister company, William's Dairy, which was famed for their own Cornish Clotted Cream made right here in Wadebridge, Cornwall.

Butcher, 60 years experience

Don has been in the trade for 58 years! "My butchery career started at the age of 9 with Lockett's Butchers in Wadebridge in 1959. I then went on to work in a number of retail outlets. I have been with Williams' for several years and enjoy serving both old and new customers!"

Scott Knight

Scott has been with us for almost 17 years, learning the trade with us from 14 years old!

Jack Williams

Apprentice Butcher, 1 year experience

Jack is now the 4th generation to begin working at Williams Butchers. He is currently training with the highly acclaimed 'Meat Ipswich' training programme along with being mentored by our most skilled butchers.

Manager & Co-Owner, 33 years experience

Mark is a highly skilled butcher and has over 30 years of experience in the butchery trade. "I love what I do and couldn't imagine doing anything else."

"I started my butchery career at 15 years old in Dewhurst Butchers, Bodmin. After 14 years I moved to a different firm but remained in the meat trade. I have only recently moved back to retail butchery with Williams' and it's like riding a bike...you never forget!"

Just down the Estuary you will find Rock village, with a beautiful long sandy beach, plenty of water sports and not to mention the 5 star food and accommodation. Also the magical harbour of Padstow to give visitors a real taste of Cornwall is only a short drive away.

The strongest attraction in the area is undoubtedly the beautiful coastline and unforgettable scenery, visitors find themselves drawn to it like a magnet. With well known villages nearby including Port Isaac, the famous 'Port Wenn' from the hit TV show, Doc Martin and down the west coast you will find various settings for the hit BBC 1 drama, Poldark, Cornwall has plenty to offer and certainly won't disappoint.

It's safe to say that no architect could have designed the magic in this corner of Cornwall.
